Words-of-Mine

No matter what the day brings, deep down I know it really is a good day because I have the man of my dreams, a kitty who loves me, a roof over my head and I live in paradise.

Watching the Patriots

This is me ready for the Patriots and Broncos game in Gillette Stadium last night. I read somewhere the wind chill factor was six degrees. Having lived in Maine, I know that it was pretty cold for those actually at the game. It was said the goal posts would shake from 30 mph wind gusts. I don't envy those players and they did look cold. The Pats played very poor during the first half of the game, 0 to 24 Broncos. Then during the second half they came from behind and tied the game 31 to 31. In over time the Pats won the game with a field goal gaining three points to win, 34 to 31.

Woke up to another day of sunshine. There was a light breeze but the temperature was very nice. Here is a photo of a patch of green grass coming up from last week's two days of rain.

Patch of Green

I've heard on the weather for here we are to get some rain on Thursday. So if it happens, I hope it waits until after I have gone for a walk and then it will be a great day for staying in to cook, read, nap, and watch the special stuff on TV.

I took a different route for my walk today and went by one of my favorite places in my little burg.

One of My Favorite Places

Unless I bring a book with me to read while Mr. F looks for movies, I look around and always come out of there with one to five books. It's like shopping for some people. I can't leave without checking out a book and I have so many at home which are waiting for me to read them.

As I walked along the major road in our town, it was fairly quiet. All must be preparing for the holiday this week. Work on the sewer must be elsewhere unless they have the week off which I don't think so since they are on a contract deadline.

All in all it has been a pretty good day. I hope the same for all of you.
