Words-of-Mine

No matter what the day brings, deep down I know it really is a good day because I have the man of my dreams, a kitty who loves me, a roof over my head and I live in paradise.

When my depression hits, this is what I need:

hibernaculum

A good long snooze until the mood moves on.

I can't believe that the beginning of this week the high temperatures in our burg was in the low 70s. The end of the week we are now in the middle to high 50s and the lows at night are in and around freezing.

Needless to say I am grateful for our weather considering what I see in the weather reports for the mid-West and the upper Northern states. But then, I figured out a long time ago, 20+ years, this girl doesn't do snow and cold any more. I am happy living where I do.

After the great report from the doc yesterday I still ended up with a panic attack this afternoon. Partially I feel it was due to a Quentin Tarantino movie, "Django." I'm used to Quentin's violence but this was, to me, exceptionally brutal and for the time period of the movie. I can't believe how brutal (yes, I know I have used that word twice in this paragraph) human beings can be to one another.

Another chilly morning for walking. I did get a chance to chat with one of my neighbors which was fun. Half way through though the walk, I had to take off my over shirt as I was working up a steam.

Best part of the morning besides walking was Mr. F made me a mushroom omelet with a guacamole topping. He made enough that I was able to do without lunch.

Who knows what we will have for dinner since we ate the last of the turkey pot pie last night. Yikes!

"There comes a time in your life, when you walk away from all the drama and people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh. Forget the bad, and focus on the good. Love the people who treat you right, pray for the ones who don't. Life is too short to be anything but happy.Falling down is a part of life, getting back up is living."

"I expect to pass through life but once. If therefore, there be any kindness I can show, or any good thing I can do to any fellow being, let me do it now, and not defer or neglect it, as I shall not pass this way again." - William Penn, English entrepreneur and philosopher
