Words-of-Mine

No matter what the day brings, deep down I know it really is a good day because I have the man of my dreams, a kitty who loves me, a roof over my head and I live in paradise.

Another night of watching the Olympics. It is interesting in the weather we are having here in the States and it is warm in Russia. I have heard they have had to take steps to keep the snow hard and to blow in some artificial snow (?) for where it has melted away.

I am enjoying watching the sports, especially the ice skating and the skiing events. Truly skilled athletes. Anyway, Bailey got up in my lap and he watched for awhile. Then he tired of them and decided to take a nap. Here is a photo of him stretched out from my stomach down to my ankles. The white at the end of where he is my socks.

Napping kitty

He stayed there most of the evening until he heard Mr. F rattling around in the kitchen and Bailey thought there might be snacks in it for him. Greedy little guy he is.

When I got up this morning it was gray out. I'm glad I put my hoodie on as there was a breeze and it felt chilly out.

This is what I saw when I got out onto the street as I was zipping my jacket.

Foggy Morning

The trees are laden with dew and as it collects and drops off I can feel it hit my hat. I might have thought it was raining until I got out from under the tree.

Here is another view of my foggy morning.

Another View of the Foggy Morning

As I walked the back loop of my walk and the sun was just right I could see the mist in the air. I'm not sure how to describe it but it seems like very minute fuzzies in the air. What I could feel on my face was like butterfly kisses.

Then when I am on the last lap, the sun began to come out.

Fog Leaving

How strange to begin a 30 minute walk in fog and by the end the sun is burning it off.

Right now as I write I can see the fog is gone and the sunshine is out. I hope it is going to be warm enough to open up the windows.

Oh, by the way Happy Valentine's to you all.

"There comes a time in your life, when you walk away from all the drama and people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh. Forget the bad, and focus on the good. Love the people who treat you right, pray for the ones who don't. Life is too short to be anything but happy.Falling down is a part of life, getting back up is living."

"I expect to pass through life but once. If therefore, there be any kindness I can show, or any good thing I can do to any fellow being, let me do it now, and not defer or neglect it, as I shall not pass this way again." - William Penn, English entrepreneur and philosopher
