Those sleeves and that order

Had Bob try on the jacket shell this morning and the sleeves fit great. Huzzah! Whew! I was worried after all that pinning and re-pinning that they wouldn't work and I'd have to rep 'em out and replace the sleeves all together

I'll get the silk cut tonight for the lining and possibly sewn together. Maybe I'll have a lined jacket by the end of the week! Woohoo!

Oopsie! Called TL Barnes at 8:30 a.m. figuring I'd get an answering machine... well, I got a live (if sleepy) person. Told him I'd call back later. *sighs* I wouldn't bother, but I really, really REALLY want that trim, and buttons and soutash!

Called TL Barnes back and got Justina. Seems they didn't yave 28 yards of metallic soutash afterall and had to reorder. I *should* have it by Friday and be able to finish the kids tunics. Hmmm... should I do a test wear on Sunday or save it for Pirate??
