Ashley Ream
Dispatches from the City of Angels

I'm a writer and humorist living in and writing about Los Angeles. You can catch my novel LOSING CLEMENTINE out March 6 from William Morrow. In the meantime, feel free to poke around. Over at my website you can find even more blog entries than I could fit here, as well as a few other ramblings. Enjoy and come back often.

100,000 served

A cooler blogger than I am would not be so excited about passing 100,000 hits. But I am the definition of uncool and am therefore toe-wiggling-ly happy about it.

It's the sort of thing you need to celebrate, so I'm giving everybody a present. Go here. No really, you can. It's work safe. Shot by a journalist living in Thailand, it's the view out an airplane window on the way to Kuala Lumpur. I won't tell you how many times I've watched it because, frankly, it's a little embarrassing. But there's something about the lightening that I find soothing. Better for your nerves than a blank prescription pad and a crooked pharmacist.

And hey, thanks for being one of the 100,000. You made my day.
