I often wonder what it would be like to live in a virtual world.

How would it feel to exist in a completely connected, continually monitored, online "pod" that broadcasts your every move to whoever you wish? A quick shuffle through online friends and family with your iTouch screen (patent pending), a tap on the monitor "glass" (just imagine the sound), and the person on the other end knows you are calling.

Travel is virtual, safe and not dependent on fuel of any kind. Food is delivered through a slot in the door (by who, we really aren't quite sure). Sex is simulated, disease-free, and always in the mood. Wars play out between countries-- between factions of humanity-- so remote that they too seem simulated, and eventually cease to exist.

At the touch of a screen you can indulge in every type of entertainment, on demand, and in life-size, super-mega-high-definition (15360 X 8640) image quality. Most of what you watch, however, will be images of other people, since unabashed voyeurism has taken the place of scripted television and film. Everyone is a star!

And with only a computer screen between you and the rest of the world, you can enjoy it all with your lover, best buddy, or even mom and dad, all without ever having to leave the comfort of your pod.
