These boots are made for walking

Just saw a news story about the the Berkeley Lower Extremities Exoskeleton. Now there's a science fiction idea come true -- a pair of robotic legs to augment a person's real ones, and enable him to carry heavier loads. Of course, the military will be interested in this. It's not a full battle-suit yet, but we're getting there. Go, science fiction!
