60 week speed-hump, and omens!

Did you notice the "60 week speed-hump" (no, not 60 kilometres/hour) that has just passed?

60 weeks (420 days) until the Inauguration of George W. Bush's successor.

It's odd that this somewhat inconsequential matter should overlap with the first day of the newly elected government in my country, Australia.

By the way, have you ever thought about that word?

augur, verb transitive; forebode, anticipate. ~ well, ill, have good or bad expectations of, for; it ~s (promises) ill

Note: "In-" is often though of as the opposite of the intended action but not, as it seems, in this case.
