Okay, so everyone is shocked by a shooting at a college in Jokela, southern Finland.

Then, to top off with a joke, we celebrate a bunch of "medieval weapon-obsessed" high school kids who are shooting giant pumpkins around New Jersey.

Let's get our priorities and prejudices within due bounds.

Either teenage kids can have a catapult, trebuchet, gun, rifle, semi-automatic, hunting gun license, knife, pump action shot gun, hatchet, knuckle-duster, concealed gun license, baseball bat, 4x2, steel fence picket, razor-wire wrapped fence paling, or what-ever.... of s/he can not.
