We had a Korean woman as a Swing Manager for a while. Her English was quite good, while she did carry quite the accent. Once, when we had Kids Meal toys from the Hello Kitty line, she answered the telephone. The caller asked, "Which Kitty do you have in the meals today?" Her answer was, "Bitch Kitty"...I saw her standing there with the phone, nearly yelling into it, as if the caller did not hear her. She just kept getting louder, and louder, "Bitch Kitty, we have the Bitch Kitty!" I finally understood what was going on, and asked for the phone. I then told the caller we indeed did have the Beach Kitty today, Just as Yong had said. (many times)" good times some days... |
