I was woke up this morning by Mickey, our 75 pound lab/shepherd mix in our bedroom. She NEVER goes into our room, I mean NEVER!! She must have had to get outside in a terrible bad way so, I got my butt out of that bed, and ran to the door for her. She didn't hesitate at all, and went pretty quick. It was at this point, that I stopped to look at a clock. Holy crap! 6:35! NO FRIGGEN WAY!! I don't work until noon! No way I will get back to sleep, after waiting for her to come back in...ugh...

I have loads to do on Saturday, and I didn't have any gumption to do one thing around the house today. I sat and read the newspaper, watched SportsCenter, Regis and Kelly, the View, started watching Ellen, and realised it was time to get to work, let alone take a shower, and be ready...ugh...

I get to work, and find that I am not in charge of the store for one minute today...YAY!! I am working crew positions all day, and I don't have to do much thinking. Perfect for me...until I realise I am bored silly with this, and I have no idea what is going on, yet I sort of laughed when Mary came running up from the back booth, her headset in her hand, saying "Someone better take this and talk to this woman, 'cuz I am going to tell her off!" I overheard that the woman insists our sign says we have two B&T sandwiches for $3, and not the Macs...yeah, whatever...the customer is ALWAYS right...yeah.

I decided long ago, that the basic problem with our upset customers is actually two in one. 1) all people tend to be a little bit cranky when they are hungry, and since they are in my establishment, they are hungry. And 2) cheap people tend to a bit crankier than others, and want something for nuthin' every chance they get. And once again, if they are at my establishment, then they are definately cheap...cheap hungry people can get pretty upset...pretty easily...

As for my day, I thought I was going to fall asleep standing up. Around 5:00 tonight, I was asked what was wrong with me today...I answered that I just didn't feel like being there, and would like to go home. So, I was sent home. I think since I am never asked that question, and I have never made that statement, it startled them, and YAY! they send me home.

So I walk in the door nearly 3 hours early, and Cailtyn is fixing dinner. She tells me to sit and relax, and not to worry, she has it handled. cool...I will eat anything that I don't have to fix...YAY!

Tomorrow, Kay and Al will come for dinner, and all four of us, and perhaps Caitlyn will finish the programs, and they can take them away from here. I will not have to look at them any longer. I am sure there will be many adventures in getting ready for visitors. Al has never been to my home. I hope she prepares him well, and he doesn't pass out at the door.
