Today was a planning meeting for the ladies motorcycle group. We are unofficially known as the Vixen's. We will have rides twice a month, with at least two weekend rides. I won't be able to ride on Sundays with them, but there are quite a few Saturday rides on the horizon. I want to go on the Columbia River Ride, but that is also a ride Mike wants us to do, so that might wait until he and I can do it, without the group. I also look forward to riding with my other group, the Chromeheads. This is a group that rides the same motorcycle as mine. Since I joined that one recently, I really don't know the protocol. I think it will be sweet seeing more than one BMW R1200C at the same time. They say the rides are quite lengthy, and that sounds cool, too. I am sure I will get some rides in with both groups, and still have a lot of riding with Mike. Speaking of which, he just came inside, with a handful of freshly fallen snow. Holy Crap! Haven't we had enough? I spend all day thinking of motorcycle riding, and it is snowing now. I am going to go winter in Arizona with my brother... My Washington Huskies have swept the Southern California Schools (USC & UCLA) this week. We are now on top of the Pac 10! There is hope for the season! Gonzaga looks as if they will sweep their conference, as usual, and that is cool too... |
