I made it to the condo to watch the baby by 8:15. We hd a light dusting of snow, and it was snowing still. I was cold, and needed more sleep, so I chose to stay inside all day long. Aurelia cannot yet crawl, but she does not stay in the same place you put her. I called her scooter most of the day. They have a new soft-sided basket to keep her toys inside and she managed to dump out the entire contents, and then proceeded to become wedged inside it. She has a stuffed soccer ball, that terrifies her. I do not know what happened to cause this, but I noticed it 3 weeks ago. When I present the ball to her, she screams bloody murder. It was inside that basket when she dumped it, and when she saw it, she again, let out a shriek. It rolled toward her, and she may have peed a little. I quickly put the ball behind the basket, and that was fine with her. She continued playing, until she got a bit carried away, and moved the basket a little. She saw the ball, and screamed again...I removed the ball from her area, hoping to hide it for today. I will see if I can find it next week, and if we get the same reaction. Mike and I got home about the same time. He says he is getting sick now. Sorry, honey...I tried to keep it to myself...those damn monkeys...We went out to eat, and looked at a couple different stores for that new TV. I am such a cheap-ass-tight-wad that if we are going to spend that much money, we have to get the most bang-for-the-buck as we can. The UW game is at the half right now. I think we have a 1-point lead. Very close indeed. WSU beat Arizona earlier, knocking the Wildcats down a notch in the standings. Back to the Salt-Mine tomorrow...the crappy shift, 12-8, ugh... |
