I swear I did nothing interesting today. Made Mike hook up the utility trailer for a dump run, as I could not stand looking at that thing full of crap any longer. He then says the tabs are due, so we had to drive it illegally to get the tabs first, since it is just down the street. Stopped at the bank to deposit a check, then to Arby's for lunch. Went to Verizon to check on a few things, including my cell phone, which has begun to make a high pitched screechbeep sparatically on all phone calls. It is still under warranty so I might deal with it another day, if it doesn't fix itself. Didn't want to do it right then, as I want to spend a little time transferring some data that won't be transferred electronically. Calendar events, and dumb stuff. Stopped at the Cycle Barn to ask some questions and buy a Skala Q2 communication system, but they were out of stock. Saw they had some Nolan helmets on sale for $300 each, which is a great deal, but we passed, our heads aren't worth that much today. Couple other stops, and back to the house where we had pizza for dinner. Watched a few bits and pieces of a few different basketball games. I think I wil pick Syracuse to go quite a distance in the tourney, they have been impressive, even if they ran out of gas today. Finished up with a DVD, "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" We had never seen it, and if you would have told me Brad Pitt had his shirt off before, I would not have waited so long. The movie was better than I thought it would be. |
