Crazy day all around. Had to work of course, but I enjoy Wednesdays. I generally am in charge all day, with neither of the twins there, and "B" off-site. I was short one shift, but dealt with it just fine. I did not manage to find a replacement hour for me to do my stuff I didn't get to on Monday. Oh, well, I can go in early Friday...wait, I won't be there Friday....guess I failed this week. I will sleep fine. The owner of the place sent me a text, asking if the supervisor had talked to me about the transfer to Monroe. I answered no, but wanted more information. I asked if this was about the e-mail I had sent the supe. She answers, "no, what e-mail?" I reply, "Oh, nothing"...she now wants more information on the e-mail. The supervisor made his way into my store, and I asked him about the transfer. He asked if I really wanted to go. I say I am getting nearer to saying yes to that with each passing day. Still undecided, I guess. My daughter Brittany and I haven't been getting along well, so I invited her and her boyfriend over tonight. They came, and we hashed out a lot of things. I think we will be happier together now. No animosity between us, just feeling the love. I filled out 5 different NCAA brackets today. All of them a bit different from the others. Some longshots here and there. It will be fun for me following it. Maybe I will win one of them....naw, notsomuch... I saved the broth from my crockpot last night, and used it to make gravy tonight. I made comfort food, my mom style. Fried some little red potatoes, made the gravy, and added leftover roast beef. All in one pot, easy clean-up, too. Mom always called it 'Hash', but I have never heard anyone else having that for dinner. SHe did it with Chicken, or whatever she had. Hell, she fed 5 of us with 1 pound of hambgurger most nights. Not sure how did that night after night. Games start at 9am my time. (I think anyway, usually did in the past) I will be found in front of the TV, with the baby somewhere close by. (Hope she isn't too needy tomorrow)j/k, she is always wonderful |
