I went and got a haircut before work today. Seems I never have time on an off day, with the baby, then being a Saturday, and always busy with Mike. I didn't wash my hair, because they always do it there....yeah...no, she didn't wash it. I tell her I like the curls, and have been using curl cream to enhance them and just going. She cut it all off, and there is NOTHING left to curl. It is VERY short. On the bright side, I wont need another cut for two full months, minimum. She also didn't style it at all, so I stopped at Walmart on my way in, and bought stuff to try to do something with it, to no avail. I did buy some new red color for it, at least I can change something with it. I worked twelve-noon to eight pm today. Both of the twins were there, but I didn't see them when I first arrived. I went into the break room, and got myself ready. (keys, nametag, tie, box-knife, stuff) I went up front, and punched in at twelve, straight up. I asked the "Y" twin where she would like me to go. She said I need you to give Karen a thirty minute break in back booth. ???? a thirty minute break at noon? our busiest hour? I would be written up if it were me...but....whatever... I say certainly, and go do it. Back there, I find two people...Mary taking cash only, and Karen taking 'first' orders. I ask her if there is anyone up front taking 'second' orders. She say, "no, I have been doing both" ???? I would be written up if I had a second person in back booth, taking first orders, prior to an OT up front taking second orders....but....whatever.... So, I am just taking orders, but I sent a text to the supervisor telling him it is the same 'ol, same 'ol...he asked me why is a thirty minute break being given out at noon, to which I reply, "because it is "Y's" shift" So, I am treated like crap all day, and banished to the grill area where I find Agustina. I ask her point blank, "Do you get along with 'Y'?" her reply..."NO!!" Then later on, the supervisor comes in. He goes and chats with "Y", then she leaves the building, in tears...he takes me out to the lobby, and sits me down. I ask where did "Y" go, and he says she needed to go home, she was in no condition to be here any longer today. I say, then is "L" doing the deposit? and he says yes. I say I will be short-handed, but I will survive fine. He says "Y" saysI was talking about her in the kitchen with Agustina. I said yes, we were. I asked her if she had the same problems, and she said she did. I just want to know if it is just me, or is she like this with everyone. He says he will be back in on Sunday morning, when her and I both are working together, and the three of us will resolve this issue. yeah....whatever... Then, when "L" finishes the deposit, she says she is leaving, that Karen is staying to work the end of her shift for her. She had the supervisors permission. Yeah, but Karens original shift is over at 5:45, and she leaves me at 5:15, so I am short-handed for that 30 minute time span...oh well...sucks to be me, but you know....whatever... I feel as if I am twelve years old, and telling on kids on the playground or something. It would be easier if she would just say to my face, "I hate you, and I refuse to work with you, so I am putting you where I don't even have to look at you" So, I am sure my blood pressure is up. I think it would go down if I could just pound on her face for a short time. no...not really...If I could just sit home, and collect a paycheck, without going in. Just Mike and I for dinner. We had grilled cheese sandwhiches, with ham embedded in there, with tomato soup. There is a swap meet at the BMW motorcycle dealership tomorrow, so we are heading there. My Chromeheads group was to meet as a group, and go for a ride after, then lunch. yeah...there is to be a storm of epic porportions coming through, so we are taking the car instead. We are also picking Aurelia up beforehand, so that will prove fun for us. |
