Work today was rather nice...with neither B nor the L-twin. I did have the Y-twin at 3:00, but I can handle her for an hour. SHe seemed surprised that I am leaving. The rumor on the streets is that she is moving to Mexico in May, leaving them short-handed. I just want to be gone before that news hits, I don't want to stay at this store. Crew came in today, with heads hanging low. They are not happy that I am leaving. Some of the managers expressed their views on the topic, and tried like crazy to convince me they will miss me too, but I just don't think so. Mike finaly read the story about the Redneck BBQ, and the story within about the Coca-Cola chase. I had stated he would give up his children and his dog for one...he says that is not true...his kids, yes, his dog, no. (yeah, right...this is the man that cried at 2:00 in the morning on Highway 10 through Texas when he hit a jack rabbit) I am still getting messages from folks at the new store. They are excited, and that makes me excited. YAY! Shannon, Caitlyn and I had our nails done this evening. I am pink and sexy again...oh wait, I was always sexy...now I am pink. We stopped for take out on the home, it was after 8:00 so I needed to be fast. We watched CSI on demand..I wonder what it is like to see that when I amnot eating my dinner. I swear one day, I am going to make a menu specifically for that show...spaghetti, and brain balls, i dunno, stuff that looks like inards, and say it was a coincidence. My boy Brandon Roy scored 42 points in a playoff game yesterday. He is cool...too bad I still cannot stand the NBA. Guess I may never... |
