It was a rather boring day for me. Not much happened at work, otehr than me having short-timers pretty badly. I have not said it out loud, but I keep thinking, "what do I care, I am leaving"...but, since it is the same company, I am still doing my work. I even finished off the April calendar for my zone management stuff, and drew a name to be my monthly winner. I don't have time off the floor to do it later, so I did it pretty early. I called the distribution center, and got credit for unused toys, and added on things to the next delivery. I trained Derrick to take care of the lobby ketchup (wootwoot)as I have been doing it for weeks. (you think anyone ever wonders who actually does that?) I have Felicitas trained to order coins from the bank, and Adriana is taking over the birthday parties. I still hope they come across moments of "I miss Peggy"...whatever...I have survived.

Mike and I made tacos together tonight. They were so good, I am sure I ate too much. I told him I was making up for that crappy pizza last night. I am about halfway through the book, "The Horse Boy". It is based on the life of an autistic kid that loves to ride horses, and comes out of his shell while doing so. His father wanted to do anything possible to help the boy, and has documented their trip to Mongolia to visit shamans. Bless the parents of any autistic child...reading this far, I don't think I would have been such a dedicated parent.
