I keep talking about this tansfer I am undertaking. I am sorry to bore everyone with it, but my new store manager came in today. I was alone in the office, counting money. He lives nearby, and needed the fax machine. We only talked for a short time, he even helped one of our crew members with her direct deposit form, faxing it to the accounting firm.

What I learned in this short visit, is that he really is ready for his promotion to store manager. He was calm, and really helped this girl. I told him how I felt with the transfer, that it was like winning the lottery for me. He said he was surprised that when he requested me being sent to his store, that it was accepting from those higher than him, and they jumped on it quickly, and got the ball rolling to get me there. I told him how very close I was to saying yes to that transfer to the Monroe store, so many miles from home. I just have not been happy where I am. He said to me that he always liked that I always did right by him, and always had his back. I told him I would always have his back. Being wanted is so much more than being needed. I swear I will do everything within my power to make that store run at full potential, so they see how much they need me there, along with being wanted. That would be great...

Derrick and I have been trying to use the employees to assemble the "perfect" man...okay, we know it is a very small school of fish to choose from, but we have had a good time studying eyes, ears, hands, butts...you know...parts to do just that. Wish I could share the actual pictures, but that may be overstepping my boundries...lets just say that the Tadilac walked by and Derrick and I just looked at him, then each other and said...nope....not one single part of that I would use. But even the child molestor, creepy guy that works there got his ass in the mix...(okay, he probably isn't a child molestor, but he is touchy-feeling, and creepy enough)...even the weird skinny world of warcraft asian kid got his dimples thrown in. We have dark mysterious eyes, and a great big smile, and perfect teeth, from 3 others. I should just take pictures, and photoshop them together...lol

Mike, Caitlyn and I went to Arby's with the coupons for dinner. Caitlyn finally wants to tear her nasty carpetting up, so we might start looking for alternate floor covering. I like the wood laminate stuff we have everywhere else, coupled with throw rugs. Easy clean-up, and it looks great. Can't tear up that carpet with the baby in the house, but we can go shopping.
