I forgot to give a shout out to Twila the other day. She had asked me what type of baked good do I request to celebrate my return to the store I belong. I then asked for her "Better than Sex" cookies. She wrote back saying while she enjoys my name for her cookies, would I be referring to her "Death By Chocolate" variety instead? Now I had to really rack my brain, to see where I had changed the name. It seems to me that Shannon had prehaps done that for me. I remember her saying something about 'BTS' cookies, when we had once had the 'DBC'. Perhaps, just perhaps, I remember that name in a more clear view... Anyway, Twila did come to work Monday with a tupperware container full of her Death By CHocolate cookies. WOOTWOOT!! She says she cannot change the name of them, because it would be too hard to explain to her children. She is not willing to go to that conversation at this point. So, I poured myself a 16 oz glass of whole milk that I stole from the espresso machine, and enjoyed two "DBC" cookies. OMG, thay are really good! As I sat in all my fatty glory, I decided they just might be "Better Than Sex" afterall...after a few minutes of digesting, and feeling so damn bloated I could berely walk, I thought perhaps I would again change the name to "Instead of Sex" cookies... Twila, I enjoyed the cookies that day, and the ones I brought home, to share with Mike (I don't think he got any...Caitlyn was home) I found that 1) They were NOT "Instead of Sex" cookies afterall..2) They were not even "Better Than Sex" as it turned out...3) we will have to just keep the name "Death By Chocolate" since the others proved erroneous... No wonder I am in such a good mood...back to where I belong, Chocolate, and sex...all in one day? |
