I missed posting last night, 'cuz I was too tired to wait my turn. I slept real well, and feel great. Today is our picnic/bbq in the park. I have loads to do before that. I got all the stuff together for my Asian Grilled Ribs, yet the store didn't have any of the right ribs. Hopefully they have more now. I could go to a different store, but they will be out of my price range. I might settle for something else. I have been busy busy busy. My sister CIndy and I went out for lunch and shopping yesterday. We had a great time, and I found a couple things that I needed and could carry on the bike. No sense in buying something too big to transport home. I had dinner with my friends Cindy and Cathy last night. This Cindy was the maid of Honor in my wedding, and has been a dear friend of mine for years. I told her daughter that she should come spend a week with me and call it summer camp. She seemed excited at that possibility. I think I should pursue it. She is a great kid. I am waiting for Rhonda and John to some home from getting the wood that John and Mike will need for their 'woody' project. We will then do a bit of shopping/errands/yard sales. Gotta get back and do some marinating of the ribs. Maybe I will see a few of you in a bit. I am working on my tan. Seattlites don't tan, we rust... |
