Had another of the overnight shifts, and I am just getting home. I am beyond tired, and hope I still feel that way when I go lay down in a few minutes. Fathers Day was a bit unusual, in that none of the kids had any plans that we knew of, so we planned the day ourselves. We wanted a seafood bbq, and we knew that woule not go over too well with 2 of our kids, but if they are not coming, then why would we care what the menu is? we did have a rack of ribs, just in case... So, scallop kabobs, 4 small lobster tails, Salmon fillet, corn on the cob, pinapple, and that rack of ribs...Brittany and Caitlyn both showed up, and had the ribs...I ate until I could not walk, then went to work. (And slept thru my shift, nearly...) We were quite busy for a Sunday night, it seemed. Then I am not too skilled on that shift, so what do I know? I survived, and made it home, suprised I didn't get pulled over for a DUI, when I was nodding off at the wheel. Hope I can wake up for my shift on Monday...I will post again after that shift. |
