I went to the opthamologist this morning. He says I have some sort of genetic disorder causing the layer that coats the eye to distort a bit, in lines. No big deal right now, if it keeps up, he can smooth it out with the laser. For now, he has me on moisture drops throughout the day, and a lubricant gel stuff at night. Says I have a few scratches on the lens. I know I was following a flatbed trcuk the other day, and he had a lot of gravelly dust flying off. I had the problem prior to that however. Whatever, it probably is not what I thought it might have been. I am a worry wart. Years ago, I had some probalems with soft tissue build up behind my left eye. With my luck, I assumed it had turned into a full blown tumor, and I was on my last leg. Sorry ya all, you will have to put up with me longer. With Chris (my son-in-law) having a brain tumor, and me reading up on them, it really has made me think about those types of things. I would take over his in a heart beat, so he could continue making my daughter happy. Would not even question it. So, I am packing, am making lists of things I need to take. There is a lot of I will be leaving before noon. Yeah, I have no idea when. Mike fixed fajitas on the BBQ tonight...yummy! |
