All is well in my little world. I have great family, extended family, wonderful friends, that are family to me, and now that I am back to working at TL, family even while working. I spent the weekend with friends. Little do they know they are family. I have known them since Temple was 16, Tikisha 9. Problem with that is that I do not know for sure how old those two are now. I think Kish is a couple years older than Alisha, so that would put her at 27 or so. Nearly twenty years. Temple worked with me, she actually hated me for a while, as I am hard on new folks. She got to know me, and I her. We are a pretty good match, and have always been close. She was going through some difficulties within her own family, and I sort of reached out, providing support as she needed it. She has always been pretty self-sufficient, even at that young age. So I rode the motorcycle solo on Thursday. I took the advice of a fellow "Chromehead" and rode around Mount Rainier, and then west. What a fabulous ride. It was pretty cold that day, and I needed to stop and add clothing, and layers. I did not pack for snow on the side of the road, yet there it sat. brrrrrrrr I am too tired to tell all the details tonight...Give me a few nights to tell it all, I had a great time. Had a trip to Panda Express tonight for dinner. Was much easier than shopping and cooking. Besides it is too damn hot to cook! Seattle is having a heat wave, and I need to look at a weather site to see how long this crap will last. |
