I have such a busy day tomorrow, that I don't know how today could have been much busier. I dropped back 10 yeards and punted today, and picked Etta up to help me with the chores around the house. We had not seen each other in a long time, so she was more than happy to help me out. She took the kitchen, and I did several other things. Caitlyn came over and cleaned out more of her stuff, and cleaned her carpet. My boss came over, to meet the dog, and get her bearings around the house. I tried to tell her the little things...like if you really ned to "take the Browns to the Superbowl", you should use the back bathroom toilet, not the front one. Heck, I use that one for ALL my trips, I have no idea anything about the front one, even where extra paper is kept. I might have used it 5 times since November, when we put the new toilet in. Ya go where you are comfortable, I guess. I repacked my roll bag, by dumping it out, counting each item, making sure I had enough shirts, and shorts, and stuff. I added a few items, as there is indeed room for them. I even fit my flip flops inside that bag, instead of strapping them onto the top. YAY! I work 9-3, and then I need to stop at the bank, and get cash, and quarters, as I will not ride by any campsites that have a shower, unless I have already found one earlier that day. For my family members that read this thing...I am guess we will be in K-Town at some point on Thursday. Where do we go for dinner? I guess there is a number of places, all over town, but I would like to see as many of you as possible, and we will have an extremely limited amount of time. One big BBQ at a central location would be perfect, can we do it? I know R works late, but I think we will be sleeping at her place, so we will see her before turning in. We will leave Friday morning, heading along the Comlumbia, then north towards Mt St Helens. Camp somwhere along that path, and to Seattle by Saturday afternoon. Famous last words... If in the event I don't survive this trip, I had a great time...yes, I am sure...Better to die living, than waiting for something to do... |
