Today went by without much fanfare. I read a couple days worth of newspapers, and got them into the recycling container. I sorted a bunch of socks, and sent a text to two daughters, saying what is left is heading for a donation dropoff site soon. When everyone lived here, there were eight feet that needed womens socks each day. I used to buy 4 packs of them from Costco with the coupons each year, and then they would go in a community drawer in the laundry room. All the socks swere identical, and you just needed the first two you grabbed. It made it much easier, but now, with those girls all living elsewhere, seems I have an abundance of the socks, and I only have two feet. I have been buying moisture wicking boys socks lately, as they are much more comfortable, and fit just fine. Found some at Sears for back-to-school that were pretty darned affordable.

Came home to stir-fry ready to eat. Except the rice wasn't cooked properly, and I asked what happened. Mike didn't seem to know, so I asked if he pushed the button down when he started it, and he said, no, he had pulled it up...ummmm, then it didn't cook right. notsogoodrice

Tomorrow will be Diva Dos' first day at my store. I am pretty excited, but he really doesn't want to come. My store is the "Ghetto" store, being it is the farthest from a build or remodel. The others look great, but they keep just pushing ours back, again and again. It is not big enough for the amount of sales we do, and needs upgrading in lots of different areas. Tear it down, and start from scratch. It is also less busy than he is used to, but I get less people, so it all works out. There is always something to do when the place is empty. Plus we have our big inspection coming up in a few short weeks, we need to clean, clean, clean...
