Another day of being busy from start to finish... Woke up to Mike pretty upset that he had forgotten to set his alarm clock. I cannot print what words came from that truck drivers mouth, but he was indeed late. He had planned on riding my bike to work today, just as a change of pace for himself, knowing I wasn't going to be using it. That got him there a bit faster than his own. I got out of bed, and used the facilities, and went back to bed. I put more of that eye gel in, hoping it would help ease the daily morning pain, and that I could get another hour. No luck on more sleep, so I just got up. I dyed my hair, and set the timer for twenty minutes, and prepared the marinade for my dinner. Got the ribs soaking, and off to wash that crap outta my hair. Looked as if I had hemmoraged in there...a deep burgandy...it is very dark. So dark in fact, that at one point at work, when I went into the restroom, the woman in the mirror startled me. I looked closer at her, and realised it was me, and laughed at myself, saying, "what the hell did I do?" Whatever, it is just hair, and mine grows sa darned fast it won't be long. Rode in with the boss, as Caitlyn had my Jeep. WE toured the Monroe store, and wow there stuff looks great! I wish ours did. I took a few pictures, hoping we can pull something off soon. They have a whole lot more room for posting notices than we do, but they somehow made it fun to read. On our way back to our store, her car started acting up, and I was starting to wonder what the hell? I had to get to work, and now I will be stuck in bumfuctegypt, then I realised I was with the boss, and certainly she couldn't be too mad that she caused me being late. Turned out the car survived and we made it just fine. Once home, I painted the room with Mike. It was the final coat, and we will see tomorrow if there is any touch up spots needed. Since we both suck at painting, I am sure there will be. The boss started vacuuming, and didn't stop until she had reached the other end of the house. She then worked in the kitchen, doing countertops and dishes. SHe asked me if that bothered me...LMAO! HA! I will let anyone in here to clean, was she crazy? I have never been to much of a housekeeper, just enough to live in without too much hassle I guess. Her work around here is much appreciated. I think that was one of the reasons I have been a little, say, "not myself" lately. Upset with the whole messiness around here, and not having enough time in my day to do too much about it. Dinner was great, even if it was a litte late. The boss has now done all those dishes as well. I am heading off to bed. more sleep...please, more sleep... |
