A "G-Rated Journal" That Even My Mother Can Read (because she does!)

Effervescence is a state of mind. It's about choosing to bring sunshine to the day.
Every person I meet matters.

If it's written down, I know it (If it's not written down, I don't know it)
If it's color-coded, I understand it (If it's not color-coded, I don't understand it)

I Got A Job!

I start next week, it's almost identical to the job I held at the Marine Corps base, it's for a company in San Diego, but they've set me up at a job site just 5.0 miles from my apartment. The money is comparable to the job I just left, and I'm thrilled.

It's only a "temporary" contract, possibly for as little as two months, but that's 2 months of work (or 6, or 9...) and money and time to look for other, more permanent positions. It also gets me back into the gov't contracting world again, and gets someone paying to get me a security clearance again. And security clearance means more job application availability.

And 5 miles from home means I might even be able to ride my bike to work someday soon. *grin*

Off to sign paperwork, and I'll be home later!
