Christine's New Chapter
Never look down...

DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing.

Day the Second

Pages Written... 4
Exercise Done... Yoga

Soup has been simmering in the crockpot all day and my tummy's getting rumbly.

Well, got some background work done on SF - I'm pretty pleased with it. I'll probably start the whole thing over again, though (I've only got 15 pages written and my angle has changed slightly). Trying out this new thing called "plotting". Using, you know, Conflict and Goals and such. *shrug* Newfangled ideas, but it's a new year so I suppose I can give it a try.

Have also decided to resurrect the two novels that the Harl editor liked last summer (before she was laid off). It couldn't hurt to tweak them and send them in, as long as I'm working on other stuff at the same time. Um...you know what I mean.

So it's only the second of January and I've already got a full plate. That's okay - I'm not keeping score this year. Betcha I do better that way in the long run.

BIG News: The washer was fixed! Hubby did it...thank goodness it wasn't anything terribly expensive and relatively easy to fix.

We can do laundry again. This is a Good Thing.

Cold and drizzly here, and supposed to be that way for most of next week. On Saturday the 8th, elder son has 3 soccer games, and we've got dinner with the artist's rep planned that evening. Then possibly 2 more games on Sunday. Busy weekend, yet again.

At least I get to go back to exercise tomorrow. Oh wait, not tomorrow...gotta take the honda in to get the brakes repaired. Sigh. If it ain't a washer, it's a pair of brakes...
