Exercise Done... Walked 2 miles

I had a hard time today writing "the scene that came next". My hero and heroine just didn't want to hop back into bed with each other, there needed to be some drama there. But I was following my outline, so...I wrote 8 pages, realized I needed to cut out 5 pages, but saved them to an outtakes file...and then managed to get another 2 pages written, for a total of concurrent novel pages of 5, non-concurrent novel pages, 10.

Sigh.

So in my book, I've got 35 pages to go for this week. And that doesn't count the two pages I cut out because they came too soon in the story. Those are saved for later, and will hopefully add to my overall page count - perhaps by Friday or Saturday. Until then, a meager showing.

But as Scarlett says, "Tomorrow is another day."

Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing.
