Jenn, bless her heart, read my latest ms and had several really cogent points. Actually, she hit exactly on what I had felt were weak spots, but couldn't articulate to myself.

Which is all good.

Except now the work REALLY begins. Like, tossing the first three chapters and rewriting them. And the ending. Other than that, it's perfect!

Sigh.

No, it'll be fun. I'll enjoy it, the whole rewriting process, and killing some of my favorite scenes.

Really. Even though I think it'll take longer to rewrite those chapters than it took to finish the book.

But we'll see. It's just a matter of deadlines. Right?
