Listening to... LOTR -ROTK

I actually did start the rewrite this afternoon. And then the power went out. No, really. Luckily, good old autosave saved me...and I'm happy with my four pages, but for whatever reason I couldn't go any further. Sigh. Tomorrow.

And on the spur of the moment, after reading an email that said a new Ed Asst at Tor/Forge is actively seeking chicklit, I bundled up my LILY partial, wrote a stunning cover letter, and sent it all out to her.

This is its fourth time out, third publisher. We'll see what comes back. And heck yeah, I can cut 15K out of it. Sure I can. No problem. *gulp* Actually, that would be a sweet problem to have - because it means they want to see the whole thing.

You just never know.

Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing.
