School ends here on June 21st. Which means I have ten days of sanity left before summer officially begins.

I love summer, I really do. Honest. I love being with my kids. But days get so formless, so disorganized that writing tends to get lost in the shuffle. So that will be a challenge.

I've agreed to watch a neighbor boy, a third son you might say, during the weekdays once school is out. This will be good; my kids will have a friend to play with, we can use their pool, and I'll be picking up some extra cash. Good all round, as long as the fights are minimal. (Sibling fights among the three of them - it's interesting.)

Okay. Off I go now to write like a demon...grrrr.
