Christine's New Chapter
Never look down...

DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing.

Feeling strong

Pages Written... none yet
Listening to... the dogs snore
Exercise Done... 1 hr gym

I'm feeling very strong, very writerish this morning and I haven't even opened my document yet.

Went to the gym, slogged out 15 minutes on the treadmill for cardio, then put in almost 50 minutes with weights - both by myself and with Julie, who came in late to our session. But I'm learning so much from her, it's hard to be annoyed.

I can see my body changing. No one else can, unless I'm in form-fitting workout clothes - but my legs and my arms are getting strong, my torso is - well, compacting is the only way to describe it. Fun stuff! Now all I need to do is start running every other day and I'll be on my way.

Came up with a good title for my latest WIP, as the last title was too category. I'm learning to weave in characters that my main characters need in order to have a rounded story. And I'm learning so much from judging the Golden Gateway contest this year - only 2 more entries to go! On the writer front, I really feel I'm breaking new ground, growing stronger - no, that's the wrong word - growing smarter, perhaps - in how to put a novel together. It's all good. And while I wish success would hurry up and get here, I'm also understanding that I *am* successful - each book is better than the last, each writing experience is making me grow, and each day brings new ideas for books.

The last, I think, is the best gift of all.
