Christine's New Chapter

Conference is going quite well, so thanks for your thoughts and good wishes. Right now I am totally exhausted. Bed calls.

However; my pitches today went well, indeed. MJ asked for a partial of the third book I pitched (which is good, since that's all I had of it). And I told her a little about my dad being a writer, and how I'd had a relationship with a previous assistant editor there...that's when she started taking notes. Woo! So I'll get cracking on the writing when I get back from vacation on the 15th of august...(sherwin creek, camping, it's all good).

The agent meeting also went well, though that was a group appointment. We each pitched our story, she requested a partial from everyone, and we had time to ask questions. Upon which I told her I had another story to pitch and could I? To which she said of course...so I did and she requested THAT one, too! (Lily, for those in the know.) She wants me to make the heroine a tad older, and cut it down a bit and she said she'd push it for NEXT, a new line from Harlequin.

So, three requests from five pitches all told. Not too shabby.

Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing.
