There is so much to do just now. Not only my writing stuff, but getting the kids ready for school, AYSO stuff, LARA stuff...it seems like it never ends.

I've got to go shopping today, plus drop by the music studio and pick up the reeds we left behind yesterday, go to costco and the farmer's market and the grocery store - why is it things are never easy? - close down the popup and prepare to move it to the neighbor's, prepare the family to accept a temporary resident in the motorhome we're housing, it seems neverending.

Hubby's playing Gremio in SHREW, so that gives him something fun to do. It'll go up in Pasadena Sept. 9, 10 & 11 in an outdoor arena - not sure of the cost, but come if you're local. More details to come. But this means he's gone a lot of evenings. It's different.

I am hungering for winter. I want the chill. I want to putter in my garden without getting sweaty. I am so ready for summer to be over.
