I am in and out about writing right now. I know I NEED to...to preserve my reputation at Harlequin/Silhouette, if for no other reason...but the wanting to is fluctuating and it is SO frustrating.

If it was winter; if school were already in session, then I could happily trot off to my local Borders and sit and write and sip and be done with it. But noooooo. School doesn't start for another 8 days and 12 1/2 hours, so I'm stuck at home, with all the attendant distractions of home.

Grrr.

But the home smells nicely of chicken curry, and dinner is not far off. Which reminds me...for lunch I had a completely politically incorrect meal of a home made chocolate shake and Earthquake chips. (California-made - their blurb is, an earthquake hit and when they went in to the plant the following morning, all the spices had fallen into the same mixing vat.) (Yeah...right. Sounds like good promo to me, but not reality. Sorry, charlie.) So they have a little salt & vinegar, a little jalapeno, a little mesquite barbeque, and a bit more of sour cream and onion. And may I just say, they are tasty? Go here for more information on how to get your own california chips, 'cause I ain't sharing.

I will say, I haven't had a meal like that since I was 19 and earning a living as a ballet dancer. Maybe that's why I feel the urge to go rehearse 'Swan Lake' ...
