Christine's New Chapter
Never look down...

DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing.

A week...

Pages Written... 9.5
Exercise Done... 1 hour @ gym

It's been a looong week. I worked Monday for someone else, worked Tuesday, was supposed to have Wednesday off but got asked to come in at 6am and worked straight through to 1pm, we drove to San Diego on Wednesday night to be with my folks, I cooked all day Thursday (standing...again...), worked Friday at 7am AND worked Saturday.

Today finally off. And cooked a turkey for us here at home...sigh.

BUT - got away to Borders at 3ish, wrote steady until 5:15 and wrote 9.5 pages! Woo! So my novel is back up and running. Hope to get chapter three done on Wednesday (my next day off).

Good news, all seemed well with my parents. My brother has a new love in his life, my nephew and niece and little great nieces were happy and healthy (and sooo adorable, my little girls!). Sara and I cooked together and giggled and had a great time.

I'm sorry we won't all be together at Christmas, but the liklihood of me working on Christmas Eve and/or the 26th has Tom putting his foot down - we're staying home this year, for the first time in what feels like eons. Which means I'll have to be more organized, and get boxes in the mail early.

Hubby put the Christmas lights up on the house...festive!But no tree until next weekend at the earliest. Lots of housecleaning to do before then.

An interesting side note. Eldest son has whittled his mile time down to five minutes, ten seconds. His goal this school year is to break five minutes. Hubby's mile time is twelve minutes thirty five seconds. Mine today was seventeen minutes eighteen seconds. Which really sucks.

But at least I'm going to the gym again.

Time to go peel potatoes. Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. To *all* my friends and family out there, thank you for your love and support. Lots of love back at ya!
