Christine's New Chapter
Never look down...

DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing.

Where do the days go?

Pages Written... 11 (on Thursday)
Exercise Done... walked 1.5 miles
Currently (re)Reading... Key of Valor by Nora Roberts
This morning was the LARA meeting - on the Business of Pleasure (or, writing for the erotic romance market). There is a lot of opportunity to be had there. After I get a bunch of other stuff done, I'll take a look and see if I can come up with something publishible for that market.

I can't believe it's been so long since I journalled. I've been busy with work and kids, and Zaphod has been keeping me busy as well - he's not yet comfy in my lap while I'm at the computer so it's tough. Hard to write one-handed. Oh, and hubby's been busy cleaning one of the Trojan viruses off my computer. No clue how I got it, either, so that's a bummer - it's cost me a couple of days this week on the desktop.

The kids have tomorrow off and technically, so do I. But I donate blood at ten and then have a filling replaced at two. And I need a mouth guard - oh joy. Apparently I grind my teeth at night (hence the need for a filling replacement). It's always something.

But I've been writing again, been to crit group again, and we're really firing each other up so that's fun. It's also why I got 11 pages written on Thursday - there was NO way I was gonna walk into our meeting and not have pages to give them! A nice boot in the rear each week.

I've outlined what I need to get done and when. This partial will go out in the mail before the end of this month (finally!) and then I'll get started on the paranormal chicklitty type romance that I want to pitch in March at the San Diego conference. So you see, there's work to be done. I need six chapters and an outline prior to the conference for my own comfort level. If I can do that, I'll be really happy.

Now, if only my car will continue to get me where I'm going until I can get it into the shop next week...
