Mondays in the retail world are strange. They aren't necessarily the beginning of your work week. For instance, last week I had Thursday and Friday off, which meant my Monday in reality was Saturday. So my "real" Monday feels like a Wednesday.

Does that make sense?

Today I worked from 1pm to 10pm, with lunch at 4pm. Weird. Five o'clock felt like noon. Tomorrow, I'm back at work at 8am. Oh joy.

In other news...I think I've finally hit on the right voice and the right mix of genres. Funny paranormal mysteries. Think Laurell K. Hamilton but without the really dark stuff, and more of a human mystery element. I think. Heck, I don't know, but I'm exploring it and having a good time. And isn't that what writing should be all about? Enjoying what you're writing? Before, that is, it becomes the way you fulfill a contract you've signed...there is an innocence unpublished writers have that should be lived to the fullest, and I intend to.

Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing.
