Exercise Done... Walked 3rd Street Promenade

Nicole and I took Santa Monica Promenade by storm. Or, rather, it took our wallets by storm. We hit up Shiva, an awesome store where I stocked up on candles, incense, and more incense.

Then we hit Lush - cha-ching! - and got freebies, to boot. One of my freebies is their super expensive Dream Cream - something outrageous like $78 a bottle for moisturizer. I got it free. WOO! Of course, this means I'll get hooked - ah, no it doesn't. I won't. I can quit any time. Honest.

Ahem.

Then lunch - don't remember where, an Italian place YUM where good food with garlic was had.

Then we hit up the enclosed mall, went to a candle store that is going out of business, bought more candles...stopped by Lush again to say Hi to Amy, Nicole's friend - and then home again, beating most of the northbound traffic on the horrible 405.

That was my magical day, ending with writing by candles and now time with the family.
