2nd day

It has been raining cats and dogs here. This morning I had to remember how to cross a flooded crosswalk. I grew up in Lawrence Massachusettes and occaisionaly the street drain would back up. We were at the bottom of the hill so expected it. Here in DC I live close to the top of the hill, I did not expect to play hopscotch on the way to the bus stop.
Going back to work after the holiday is alway the pits. Have to make up the work some how. Well, hubby is impatient for me to join him. I haven't told him about this journal yet. Though I have mentioned the site. Take care all. Hopefully tomorrow will be more eventful, but right now I am doing a lot of thinking about what I want to do with the rest of my life. If a woman of 75 can graduate magna cum laude from Harvard-then there should not be a limit on what I can do with attaining higher education at the mere age of 51-right?
