can't get him moving

He told me, I wake him up, he'll get up. Can't do any thing to set up the apartment when the bedroom and living room are all one. Oh well, I need to do the dishes anyway. But this is frustrating to say the least. I even did all the laundry last night so that would be out of the way. If I could do this by myself, I would, but it means disconnecting electronics and that is NOT what you want me to do.

Other news, when I finally put away the clothes he washed last week when I was sick, there were 3 paperback books in the bottom of the basket(and he shakes his head when I scrounge). People will leave the books in the laundry room if they don't want them. Anyway, I have not been reading as much hard sci fi as I use to. 2 of the books are sci fi 'RED MARS' and 'Green Mars" by Kim Stanley Robinson. The books are from 93 and 94. Started reading Red Mars while doing laundry. It is a slower read than romance and fantasy that I have been reading. Can't skim read. But it is good, intrigue, fact, fiction and science-but not too heavy in it just enough to make you think.

Well, his phone alarm just went off, so see if that gets him up. I don't think that it will, but we'll see. It is not raining, but still relatively cool for JUne-63F. He did say he wanted to go to the movies tomorrow-but the apartment has to be done first.

Have a good weekend everyone!!

Well, it is official. We are not doing the major reorg that was planned for today. One of these days, I am going to call off work on a Friday and do it my self. I can disconnect all the electronic stuff, then have him reconnect. He will get furious, but that is the best I can do. Actually, I can ask for leave ahead of time and not let him know. the only other thing that I can think of is us do the move on a Friday night. That usually doesn't work because we are both tired. I don't know know-he is talking about going into work one Saturday soon-I'll do it then I think. He is putting it off until July 4th-we get the Friday off since holiday is on weekend. But that is what he said about Memorial day too. Can you tell that I am a little pissed. I know that he hurts, but when it is something that he really wants to do.... Anyway, enough venting right now, I just believed him when he said that if I got up and got going to start the day-hey maybe I should try making a big breakfast. Hmmm-I'll try that next Saturday. Let me try that first. See, talking on here does help the deviousness process.
Not so mad anymore, but at least I got the ham and bean soup started. I was making that so that we wouldn't need to worry about supper. Oh, well, next Saturday we'll order out I guess. I hope it rains next weekend!!! Van doesn't start if it rains too hard and traveling by foot and wheelchair-well, it gets really wet really fast!!
