Funny

It is funny when you are walking into your federal building and you smell something burning-building on fire? Can we go home? NO, the Old Post Office Pavilion next door had a fire and our air intake took in the smell. They were getting ready to try to ventilate with fans. None of the windows open. What is weird is that where the smell is strongest is on the opposite side of the building from where the fire was.

Good news, made it in before the thunder storm hit. Nice rolling thunder. May be we'll loose power-go home?
Can you see that I really don't want to be here today? Oh well, I am here and work will continue.

SO is home sick again today. He refuses to call Doctor to make appointment to get his pain med back. They removed him from all pain med and in the last year I have seen his quality of life go downhill. They thought he was getting addicted to the med (because it can be addictive and is a controlled substance.) Fine, but watch him, don't just remove him from meds that have worked for 5 years. I am going to get a signed authority from him to talk to primary care. This has been going on long enough. Since pain is not under control, he feels everything else twice as bad. (Or more.)

Didn't get to have breakfast before I left home this A.M. so I am going to have to go to the small snack bar-was going to go to the Pavillion, but see above about the fire.

Well, talk to you later.
