Bad part, left SO in bed-he had leave! good thing-will be becoming responsible for new program at work. Person who did it till today is going on a 'detail' to our IT unit. She is sooooo unhappy with her manager that she said she is expecting to get job with them. She isn't a bad person, but does have a manager who 1 is trying to get up the chain; and 2 is stickler for rules. He does expect a certain level of work and she doesn't always handle things well. This is a 'developmental' responsibility for me. I do think when my manager realized how bored I am in my current position, and where I was looking for possible job, and the fact that I will take another downgrade to get there-he figured he better do something soon. We do have an intern on summer break that the manager was going to try to do the job-she is not qualified-not enough of a particular type of training that I have been getting piecemeal by working with ordering supplies. It is a backward system, buy I sort of understand it.

Well, tomorrow is paid day off, I hope that SO will start doing what he said with moving stuff around. I am not expecting him to but I can wish. Maybe he'll do laundry, that will be a big step. We'll see.
