Book signing & weird dreams

I finally found the invite postcard for the book signing tomorrow evening. SO had it at the bottom of the pile of mail on the table. Since our home computer is not hooked up yet (from the move 2 weeks ago-he has to do it), I was going to bring the card to work and do search to find hotel where the signing is and how to get there using public transportation. SO was looking at card and I said half jokingly "You can come with me you know." He is working o/t until 5:30pm (the starting time) that night. He took the card and said, you wouldn't be able to figure out which way I would need to go. (I didn't argue with him-but the website for our public transportation system-WMATA is really good.) He put it into his pocket this morning so I believe that he will be coming with me-good, we'll need to find someplace for supper.

Anyway, we went to bed and early this morning I started a weird dream-hate to say it, entities that I identified as certain famous people were in it. We were at a park of some type and someone had crocheted a sweater for me-I was doing an undersweater to help cover me better and there were authors visiting for the book signing talking about crochet. There was going to have a 'auction' of items companies donated. Things like a Mary Kay lipstick collection, several different sizes of sewing boxes filled with craft items and embroidery thread. There was a collection of crochet hooks (like I really need any more) that were reall special-hand carved types. The auction had just began and I had just sat down with paper and pencil-it was a silent auction. Then I heard my husbands voice say, "If you let me sleep till 5 I'll buy breakfast." Now I won't know if I won the crochet I wanted. But I did wake up with a design for a sweater-crochet of course, in my mind. Sill working on the particulars in my brain. But it is very solidly in my brain.
oh, the breakfast- 2 doughnuts and 1 of diet coke. not my normal, I promise. Lunch will be better!!!!

SPOILER ALERT
Last night we watched the movie with the "National Treasure" lead-the new movie-I cannot remember the name of it for the life of me. It is the one where a young girl had written a series of numbers that turned out to be dates of disasters. I can see why people didn't like the movie. Some of the premises were weak, and his acting was spotty-really good in some scenes and over the top in others. I do think that the boy who played his son was good, but there has been better. My SO said he should have picked up "Push" instead. I like the movie idea, gave lots to think about. I do like the special effects at the end- SPOILER ALERT- the aliens outline showed wings. Angels? and the place the children were brought with the tree definately had biblical inferences. This movies was probably not the best one to watch right before bed.

Yesterday I started to read 'reverendmother's' journaling. What a writer. I wish I could write half as well. She has a gift that is a joy to read. I have tried to link my favorite sites here, but I can't seem to get them to work correctly. Her site is at http://reverendmother.org

Oh, if you are lurking, say Hi, give your opinion-I am always open to learning.
