half way through

It is Wednesday, last day of Fiscal year 2009 (government accounting and budgeting), and the hard part of the day is over-getting to work. Overslept a little, even though I managed to get to bed an hour earlier last night. Had a little spat with SO over his leg. He kept on moving it while we were sitting watching tv, and then he decided to tell me how to wrap it, while we were trying to watch tv. Apparently he didn't like my response, so he got the "I'll do it myself" attitude, which meant he wouldn't let me near it to wrap. Aggravating. Ok, enough of the rant. Enough complaining.

I finished the scarf I was working on, started the hat. It is a slightly different pattern. Most of the hats, work from the center and have the increases very concentric. Example- row 1 will have you increase every second stitch, row 2 every 3rd stitch etc. This pattern has you increase rown 1 every second stitch, then row 2 the same, but row 3 will start with an increase instead of increasing in the 3rd stitch. It makes a less noticible geometric angle, more of a circle throughout. I'll need to keep this idea in mind for future use.

Well, time to actually work. Have fun.
