BUSY BUSY BUSY

Usually, when I return to work from being sick, it is no problem catching up. This time, it seems to be a problem. My mind cannot stay on my work. It keeps jumping around. Part of the problem is the upcoming detail. I know that, but I am a mature worman, I should be able to control that, right?

Anyway, SO is still working from home. Idiots forwarded work late, he has to reformat and correct and link and work around a system that acted as it it was going to go down. He did stop for 1/2 hour for supper. He finally finished at 10 last night. (I think-it may have been later.) He said that he was going to come and sit with me, but then never did, he was playing on his PSII. He asked if I was going to bed soon, that is when I found out he was playing and not working. I asked if he was going to sit with me a while. He said he 'forgot' he had said that he would. He finally came in and we watched the end of a PBS special on Joan Baez. I was a kid when she was really in the news but I remembered a lot of her music. And newsmaking activities. When we did go to bed, SO couldn't settle down and ended getting back up.

The other day, Rhubarb wrote about hoarding. OOPs! I think we have that problem going on. This weekend will be a good weekend to clear out. It goes on for a period, then we do a good clear out-usually instigated by me. Then it starts all over. Time to break the cycle, but usually the cycle starts because one or both of us gets sick. and things pile up. But he doesn't through old bills away-even after they are paid. He never has-he doesn't file them either. But stacks them. Was really fun when I needed the check book this morning. Found out that the register has been missing for 4 months. (he keeps track of everything on a spreadsheet on the computer) But it is suppose to be real rainy this weekend so I can get some of the tossing done and even if he isn't feeling well, sitting in a chair and tossing stuff into a garbage bag will work!!
