done ranting

I read over the last two entries. I hope noone here thinks that things are always bad, because they are not. I think that my eyes really opened up this year. I do know that in January I am planning on having a budjeting meeting with my SO so that things get a little more evenly distributed out-to all of us. My daughter has a better job now and should be able to get herself going well even though her house has major repairs needed. Son does need more help, but if gifts are evenly divided I will feel better. If spending money is split between hubby and I, I will feel better, and if medical things I need are taken care of i.e. glasses, dental I will feel better. There, you can tell I have been thinking things over.

Now as to my AZ granddaughters:
I am going to start a notebook to each where we can write back and forth-I will have an envelope with pictures of the apartment, popa and me etc, for them to take our and tell stories of what's happening in our life. When they visit their dad, they can read them, fill out the next pages in the books and dad can mail them back. GD's can keep the pages we have sent in a loose leaf binder at dads. This will let me tell me stories about their daddy and us too. I can type them on the computer and make a copy for each of them and a copy for the IL GD. Maybe this will help all of us. Anyone else have a better idea?

Crochet meeting is this Thursday and I have been working on the triangle shawl using Homespun yarn. I have it started in red heart to show the difference in feel etc. for the members. I found something in Piecework Magazine that I would love to try-it is a contest that reworks what was published in the 17-1800's. You try to do the pattern then take a picture and send it in-by January 10th. Unfortunately I am moving over the New Year weekend so time is short. I still may try out the pattern. Got to go.
