It is a Monday

we had snow over the weekend-more than they expected, but not enough to suit me.

It was a productive weekend. The clothes dresser was straightened out-by both hubby and I-we each have 2 drawerers-I ended up moving a few items to my new (reclaimed nightstand) and that freed up some space. He got rid of some socks that he hasn't worn in years-they will be donated to the chuch-they are in excellant condition. I got my cookbooks up on the bookshelf, so the place is starting to come together. We looked at sectional sofas on line. And he has decided to rearrange the living room the way I originally suggested when we first looked at the place. (He didn't like that way when I had the idea, but now he does!!! Why is it that when it is my idea, it isn't a good one, but give it a month or two, he likes it? This is the second time it has happened. And he has agreed to getting a chair for him! again my idea. We are going to be dividing the living room into 3 areas- tv viewing/den; desk/study and then my craft/crochet shelf area.-I expect that area to be very small. But I will be working on it!

I finished 1 baby blanket and started the next. What I thought was a new pattern was a very simple pattern that I have done before-it is the yarn that made it complex. Oh well, it looks pretty and will be a very soft blanket.
